Otto Evjenth

The author is a distinguished business leader with an extensive background in organizational development, public administration, and public law. He is currently serving as the Chairman of the Board of Global Pedlars AS, an executive director of WGM SA, and affiliated companies. In his role as a Chairman, he is responsible for leading the company's strategic initiatives and overseeing its business operations. Mr. Evjenth is also the President of GMCD Sdn Bhd, a company co-owned by AIBD (Asian Institute for Broadcast Development) and WGM, that provides services to broadcasters. His leadership has been instrumental in the development of communication strategies aimed at promoting social development in various parts of the world. Mr. Evjenth holds degrees in Organisational Development, Public Administration, and Public Law from the University of Bergen. He has also completed an Advanced Executive Program at IMEDE in Switzerland and an AFF program in Norway. His educational background has provided him with a broad understanding of various disciplines, enabling him to be an effective leader in the business world. Before his current positions, Mr. Evjenth held executive positions in international companies, including VP Industrial Relations of Brownaker, Media VP Business Development of BT, and Director of Business Development for new services of Telenor. His experience in these roles has been vital in his ability to drive major industrial and social changes and competence-based organizational evolution. Mr. Evjenth has also held board positions in various public and private educational institutions, including research institutes, schools, and kindergartens, for the past 20 years. He has also held board positions in companies in the US, UK, Scandinavia, and Asia, and was the chairman of the standing committee for business development of ECCA (European Cable and Communications Association) for two years.
